Entrance exam for PG and doctoral programs in pharmaceutical sciences at NIPER institutes.

Question paper for Masters:

  1. The question paper for both the session I & II will consist of 200 multiple choice questions under two sections.
  2. Section A consisted of 25% questions from General English, Aptitude, Reasoning, and General Knowledge etc.
  3. Section B consisted of 75% questions from the syllabus of B.Pharm. And PG degree (MSc) in the relevant fields.
  4. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours.

Marking scheme of NIPER JEE 2025 for Masters:

  1. Each question carries 0.5 mark.
  2. For each incorrect answer 0.125 mark will be deducted from the total score.
  3. No marks will be given for un-answered or un-attempted questions.
  4. In case a question is dropped due to some technical error, full marks shall be given to the candidate irrespective of the fact who has attempted it or not.

Question paper for PhD

  1. There will be an objective type of question paper containing 170 questions of 85 marks.
  2. The standard of the question paper will be equivalent to the syllabus of MS (Pharm), M.Pharm, M.Tech (Pharm), M.Tech/ ME, MVSc, MD, Pharm. D, MSc (in relevant discipline) and MBA level.
  3. The question paper of each discipline contains two sections.
  4. Section A consisted of 25% questions from general ‘Pharmaceutical Sciences”, General Aptitude, General English, Aptitude and Reasoning.
  5. Section B consists of 75% questions from the respective disciplines i.e. from subjects of Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Management. Whereas for Medical Devices, 75% of the questions come from the syllabus of M.Tech. Medical Devices or its equivalent.
  6. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours.
  7. The qualified candidates in each discipline must appear for a physical interview for 15 marks at NIPER Guwahati followed by the counselling.
