The IIM Kozhikode will administer the CAT 2025 exam. The exam will be held on November 30, 2025, and it will take place online across 155 cities.

To be eligible for the CAT 2025 exam, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent from a recognised university. Candidates belonging to the general category should have at least 50% in total, and candidates from the reserved categories (SC/ST/PWD) should have at least 45% in total to be eligible to apply for CAT 2025.

The CAT 205 exam pattern, as suggested by the IIMs, consists of 66 objective-type questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Type Answers (TITA). Candidates should complete the CAT 2025 exam within 120 minutes. Forty minutes are allotted for each section in the examination.

Candidates who want to appear for the CAT 2025 examination must start preparing at least a year before the CAT exam, which will allow them to cover all aspects of the syllabus.

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) will conduct the CAT 2025 examination.

The CAT 2025 exam pattern is likely to remain the same as the previous year's syllabus. The three that the CAT exam paper will have are- Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR).

The last date to register for the CAT 2025 exam is likely to be September 21, 2025. Candidates must submit their applications for the CAT examination before this date, as no application will be submitted after this date.

The CAT fee is non-refundable. Candidates must know that the CAT fee will not be refunded under any events. The CAT registration fee amount is INR 2400 for general category students and INR 1200 for reserved category students. Once paid, the CAT fee cannot be refunded. However, suppose the amount has been deducted from the candidate's account, but the payment process is interrupted. In that case, the amount will be refunded by the bank and credited to the candidate's account.

The CAT 2025 percentile score is based on the performance of the candidate as compared to all the other exam takers. The CAT 2025 cutoff percentile for admission to top business schools in India varies from year to year. The percentile also depends on parameters such as the number of candidates who have taken the test, the difficulty level of the exam, and the number of seats available in the institutes. Usually, a percentile score of 90 or above is considered to be a good score in the CAT exam and can help candidates get admission to a good business school in the country. However, to increase the chances of getting admission to top business schools, obtaining a 95 percentile score will be helpful.
