Common Admission Test - exam_application_process

Online registration will be available for the CAT 2025 exam at iimcat.ac.in, the official CAT website. Candidates who are interested in registering can learn more about the CAT Registration Form 2025 here

1. A few days after the notification is released in July or August of 2025, the CAT 2025 registration process will start.
2. The only way for interested candidates to apply is online,
3. The application deadline is set for the second or third week of September 2025.
4. Candidates must ensure they have a working, unique email address and a working cell phone number before registering.
5. Upon registering, candidates will receive a unique ID and password that they may use to complete out the application.
6. Applications can be completed in more than one session if candidates are unable to finish them in one.
7. Following payment of the application fee, modifications to the details will not be permitted.
8. Students are asked to confirm that all of the information they have provided on the form is true. Should any information be found to be false, the form will be immediately rejected.
9. During the registration process, candidates who fall under the SC, ST, or PWD categories must upload their category certificates. Once registration is complete, there won't be any further changes allowed.
10. Only during the period of rectification following the completion of the registration process will minor details be permitted changes.

CAT 2025 Registration Fee

1. The only way to pay the registration fee is online.
2. SBI E Pay and Bill Desk options will be made available to candidates to pay their application fees.
3. Under no circumstances can the fee be reimbursed once it has been paid.

No matter how many universities the applicant is applying to, they just need to pay the application cost once.

Documents Required

While filling out the application form, you must also upload the required documents in the given format-

1. Photo
2. Signature
3. NC-OBC/SC/ST certificate
4. PwD certificate

*Candidates will be required to present your mark sheets and degrees in person.

How to Register for CAT 2025 Exam

1. Visit the official webpage online.
2. Select New Candidate Registration from the list of options.
3. In order to finish the registration procedure, generate an OTP.
4. Enter your name, email, DOB, mobile number, and other information now, and make sure it's correct. It is necessary to verify entries prior to final submission as they cannot be altered once submitted.
5. Enter your password and user ID to log in now, then begin entering the remaining information.
6. Enter your personal, educational, professional, and other information.
7. Add the programs, employment experience, and test city.
8. Proceed to pay the application fee with the designated payment method.
9. Save the application after downloading it for future use.

CAT 2025 Application Correction

A handful of the CAT 2025 Application form's details can be changed by registered applicants. Details such as the test city, signature, and photo can be changed after the registration session closes.

Only online editing and modification of the application form's details is possible. In order to make corrections in the form, students must provide their login credentials.

September 2025 will see the opening of the Cat Correction Window. No applicant will be able to amend details after the deadline for corrections.
