The question paper is designed based on the courses that candidates for programs have applied for. There are multiple-choice, objective-type questions asked in the exam. The paper took three hours to finish.
Official AMUEEE test patterns are not prescribed by Aligarh Muslim University. The subjects covered by the questions will include Physics, chemistry and mathematics.

Paper - I
- The entrance test for AMUEEE will be administered offline.
- The AMUEEE 2025 admission test lasts for 3 hours
- One mark will be given for each question that is correctly answered in paper I and paper II both.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Marking System
Before taking the entrance test, candidates should review the AMUEEE 2025 exam format and marking system.
- There will be one mark given for each question correctly answered.
- The AMUEEE 2025 entrance examination gives 0.25 negative marks for each incorrect answer.
- Questions that are not tried will receive no marks.
Paper II
Candidates who want to take admission to B.Arch courses have to appear in the additional examination which is paper II along with paper I.
The pattern of the examination is listed below:
- The AMUEEE Paper II examination will be held for 3 hours.
- This test will consist of descriptive-type questions and a drawing section.
- Candidates are required to secure at at least 40% marks in paper II to qualify the examination.
- Candidates should have qualified NATA.
