IIT Delhi is going to organize a series of mentoring workshops, Transformative Leadership in STEMM (TLS), for SC/ST students who are in their second year (or later) year of PhD program at IITs, NITs, and other HEIs. The primary purpose of these workshops is to encourage and empower the PhD students to apply for faculty positions at IITs, NITs, and other HEIs. Those applicants who apply for the workshops will invited to the second TLS workshop. This will conducted for three days which they will provide mentoring for research, teaching, and leadership. Selected candidates will present their research to the experts and peers and receive feedback and mentoring from subject experts. These workshops will also have sessions focused on building teaching and presentation skills, facing job interviews, confidence building, networking, and interactions with experts, deans, and directors of IITs.

Who can apply

• PhD students belonging to the SC/ST category enrolled at any of the IITs, NITs and other HEIs in their second and later year in PhD.
• Applications are only open for the followin areas: Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical, and Kusuma School of Biological Sciences.
• The selection of the applicants will be based on the seniority, good academic potential, and qualify of the research abstract.
