The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the exam schedule of National Defence Academy (NDA) test, 2025. As per the official notice, the NDA I and NDA II exam will take place on 13th April 2025 and 14th September 2025 respectively. UPSC NDA 2025 Examination - Introduction

NDA is a well-known defense examination in India. This examination gets students admitted into Indian Military, Indian Army and Indian Air Force. Candidates falling between the age of 16.5 to 19.5 years are eligible to apply for the NDA 2025 examination. It is a two tier examination. Candidates are selected on the basis of a written test & SSB Interview. The SSB Interview is the last stage of final selection. NDA stands for National Defence Academy. It is a national-level examination which is conducted twice a year. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is the conducting body of the NDA exam. The application process is conducted online while the exam takes place offline i.e., pen and paper mode.

Steps to Apply for UPSC NDA 2025 Exam

Candidates can follow these given steps to apply for the UPSC NDA 2025 Exam. The steps are as follows -
  1. Candidates have to visit the NDA’s official website.
  2. Click on ‘OTR (One Time Registration)’ option and enter the required details.
  3. Login and enter the registration ID and password to fill the registration form.
  4. The NDA application form will be filled in two parts - Part 1 and Part 2.
  5. Students need to carefully fill in the details in the application to avoid any mistakes.
  6. Upload required documents properly and carefully.
  7. Next, pay the requisite application fee by selecting any payment method in the payment gateway.
  8. Now, recheck every details and documents before submitting.
  9. Remember to take a printout of the submitted registration form for future use.

Application Form and Fees

Candidates must be aware of the details of the NDA 2025 Application Form and its fees to ensure a smooth application process. The NDA 2025 Application Form will be released on 11th December 2024 for first session. Whereas for the second session, the form will be available from 28th May 2025. Candidates need to fill the application through online mode. The last date of application form submission for session I and session II will be 31st December 2024 and 17th June 2025 respectively. The NDA 2025 application fee for all category students will be INR 100. The fee payment can be made through online mode via Debit Card/ Credit Card/ UPI or Net Banking. Candidates can also make offline payment of fees through SBI Bank Challan or by Cash but the fee is non-refundable.
