JEE Main 2024 Session 2: Analyzing the B.E./B. Tech Exam Shifts
Latest Update: Nov 20, 2024
JEE MAIN 2024 Session 2 Paper 1 Exam Analysis (Shift 1)
In the first shift, students found the overall difficulty level to be moderate. The Chemistry section was kind of surprise because of its tricky questions. In physics, however, there was a balance between theory and numerical questions with an emphasis on electromagnetism in particular. The most challenging section was mathematics, due to its formulas derived from coordinate geometry and integral calculus questions.JEE MAIN 2024 Session 2 Paper 1 Exam Analysis (Shift 2)
The students reported a moderate difficulty of the exams in both shifts. However, the hardest section was mathematics for its difficulty and length. On the other hand, it was thought that sections on chemistry and physics were less difficult than usual because questions based on formulas dominated the test. NCERT books have been selected as a useful resource for preparing the exams by most students.Direct Link To Website – Click Here |

Student Reactions: JEE MAIN 2024 Session 2
The Chemistry section included more questions from physical chemistry and metallurgy, based on students feedback. This made them more confusing and challenging to answer. In the mathematics section, many students complained about the difficulty of the questions, due to their complexity and length. However, physics gained positive response because of its balance between theory and numerical problems.Subject-Wise Important Chapters
